I'll be telling everyone I know to never touch this horrible software. It's a waste of time, and only gives you a false sense of security. In short, nothing works, I can't fix anything. Why do they think I want to recover my account? Every other such option I've seen on the web - every single one - only requires an email address with confirmation.

I can't even recover my password, since it needs a username to initiate the password change. Every time I try to login via the web, I'm told my username is an "invalid syntax" even though another page, the one accessed directly through the app, says I'm using exactly the right login. Infinite "building file list" messages with no actual backup being done. This is a failure of the primary purpose of the software. Let me list the ways, things I've just encountered this morning. I used to recommend them, certainly not anymore, crooks who take your money without authorisation, now onto the bank! What sort of service is that? Shall I just move back to Carbonite? So they say lots of people who highly recommend? Certainly not from the reviews i'm seeing. My instructions? The following email: Hi - I never got any notification that the account was due for renewal only a message this morning that my account was deactivated. I'm sure something appreciated by people who find us highly recommended.
What did they do? Reactivate my account and take 99.50$ USD without my authorisation! When I contacted them they would not respond, when I got unhappy and told them I would leave a bad review they came back with the following statement in an email: We have followed your instructions. So I sent and email saying their service was shoddy and should I move back to Carbonite. Crooks who take your money without authorisationĬrooks! Used iDrive to backup my data but I did not set to auto renew, when the auto renewal should have taken place they did not send me an email as expected to inform its time to renew, they simply deactivated my account so no way of logging in again.
